About Our Company Name

We get asked about our company name all the time. Read about its origin: Where Did the Name "No Thirst" Come From?

About No Thirst Software

No Thirst Software is as much a personal mission as it is a software company. It was created to deliver excellent products and services that change peoples lives.

That's a big purpose, but I'm positive that great software can change lives (just like craptastic software can give you a migraine). I've been creating software for people and businesses for over 25 years and I've seen my share of bad software. By "bad" I mean software that makes you work too hard. That's why you'll only see products created for the Macintosh on this site. Mac OS X is simply the best environment for publishing great software. Great software is drop-dead easy and does what you need it to do in an elegant manner. Great software is obvious to operate and doesn't require a manual or a doctorate degree. Hopefully you'll agree that we provide great software.

Why Shareware?

Software can get expensive. There's nothing worse than buying pricey software only to end up frustrated that it doesn't work as advertised—or worse—is buggy and doesn't work at all! Okay, actually lots of things are much worse, but I'm trying to make a point so humor me. Shareware is friendly because it lets you try before you buy. If you use it and want to keep it, go ahead and pay for it. If it stinks like cheap cologne, trash it.

I'm pretty sure MoneyWell and Debt Quencher don't stink, but then again you may find out that you don't really need either tool. If our software doesn't work for you, then just delete it and don't give another thought about them (okay, maybe come back once in a while to download our updates and see if you like them better).

I like this other scenario better: Our products work for you, save you tons of money, and you pass on just an itty bit of that saving to No Thirst Software in payment for a job well done.

Feedback

Your feedback is important to me. I'm always looking for ways to improve our software and services. Please send me any suggestions, complaints or compliments—the former two are critical to improving our software and the latter gives me the energy to implement your ideas. Thank you for taking the time to find out more about No Thirst Software!
